After 3 weeks of Chinese food I needed a steak so went to Mammamia. Had a bit of a communication problem as we dont speak Chinese so the waiter asked the chef to help out. Had a great steak, chips and salad meal and a lovely conversation with the Maltese chef. Just what I needed on the day then back to the pretty yummy Chinese food.

After eating all the good Chinese dishes, it is also good to find some good Western food for a change.

Serves a wide variety of food and the pizza is pretty good. My daughter happily ate the fried rice, pizza and various vegetables you could select from the menu. It may have been pricey but you're stumped for choice of western dishes when travelling with little ones. A good option in Shuhe. And we ate there every day and never got sick!

The restaurant is in best location in Shuhe, surrounded by beautiful sights. They have live music at different times, and the decor is also impressive. We were not surprised at higher prices considering the location, but we were disappointed at mediocre service. We dined here twice, and ended up leaving on one occasion without finishing our food. We ordered special fish and fried rice. While the fried rice came out quickly, the fish was nowhere in sight. As the fried rice started to get cold, we ate it slowly, hoping the fish will be coming out any minute.. and it only came out after we finished the rice and got up to pay. The staff did not speak English and didn't respond to my complaint, but the manager understood my complaint and agreed to not charge us for the fish since we did not touch it.
While their food is fine, we found many better options around town at much lower price.

The menu gave you a choice... quite a variety of international dishes ... and ranged from Chinese to Pasta ... chips even for the home sick Westerners! Good coffee and always a singer on guitar or piano to listen to while one could relax in the deep soft lounges ! Yes, our popular choice !
