“Another forgettable site”
Reviewed June 21, 2013

This is yet another of the "Big 8" Turpan tourist sites. If you have never seen a mosque before in your life and you definitely know that you will be dying within the next month, then go ahead and pay the admission price. If either condition is not true however, save your money.

“Uniquely appealing, not your usual mosque”
Reviewed June 16, 2013

The location, the tower, the cleanliness, the quiet, the great pictures you can take of the architecture - a few reasons why we liked Emin Minaret.

“Nice minimalist mosque - mud brick construction”
Reviewed June 4, 2013

Worthwhile to visit - another view is to walk to the rear of Muna'er village and view it from the vineyards. The tombs behind the minaret are in all shapes and sizes and worth a look too.

“Good photo opp”
Reviewed May 15, 2013

This is an interesting construction. It was not busy at all so we could take several good unobstructed photos. I followed the sign for the toilets but could not find them

“WORTH THE PICTURES”
Reviewed March 25, 2013

Some good pictures to be taken, although maybe one could argue you could get lots of good photos without paying the entrance fee from the front gate. The mosque is nice but if you have seen lots of mosques obviously similar layout inside. Interesting the Chinese Government restricts teachings of the Koran.
