A very popular guesthouse in Jiuzhaigou, with rooms always running out.
Booked a triple-loft-room for 2 nights initially. Upon arriving, was informed that there was a standard triple room available with slightly higher price, but better room condition + TV, Room 215 to be specific. Based on trust, I didn't check the room and subsequently, having a horrible night. Room is basic, but the shower room is EXTREMELY stinky! Just imagine every time you open the toilet door, you were like staying in a room with a odor similar to one of the public toilet on the China street. Even if you shut the door, the smell though reducing but still stayed! Worst, they are running out of room for you to change, also, you arrived there late, not easy to find another room.
I check-out immediately the next day, and what make me pissed was, they were aware that room 215 is stinky! But choose not to disclose.
Set aside the horrible experience that I encountered, here are the pros & cons
Pro: location is good as it is close to Jiuzhaigou Entrance, internet/wifi is free, 24 hrs hot water.
Con: except the family room, the rest of their rooms DO NOT come with heater, the 'heat mat/pad' that they provide, a heat generating layer lay on top of the mattress, is not good enough to warm you up at night. Avoid it during cold weather then. Room is not very clean and they do not make up the room if you stay more than one night. Water pressure is not promising.
