Okay, the hotel is great. Rooms are nice. Food is good. Pool is awesome. On the other hand there were some things that made the trip interesting. First I have never heard the word NO come out of people's mouths more at a hotel. No one seemed to want to make the extra effort. Most of this was in the food service. The Service became a joke within our family during our stay. We were there for 7 days, and it only got better...I Believe we had made a reputation for ourselves. They have great activities for kids also. I would stay again but change my expectations.

This was our second stay at Ross Bridge. Our kids loved the pool! The live music by the pool was excellent and the "Dive In Movie" was great! Cupcake decorating with the chef was also a huge perk! The Clubhouse restaurant was great with several options, Breakfast at Brock's was amazing, and Room Service was also great! Highly recommend Breakfast at Brock's, but go early!!! The Crab Omelet was to die for! Also, liked the high end features of the buffet, omelet station, pancake station, etc. but with a flat price.$19 for adults and $8 for ages 6-12. Poolside service is also great, a little pricey for specialty drinks, but hey, we never left our chairs! Perfect weekend getaway with the family!

Room Tip: Rooms over looking the pool are higher priced in the summer, go for the green view- as the course is...

Had a very relaxing time at this hotel while spouse there for business. Pool nice, food at all restaurants was pretty good. Concierge staff always friendly. Spa was average but efficient with clean facilities. I would def return to this venue but with a rental car to explore shopping and surrounding areas.

We were here for three nights to attend a meeting. This is a great meeting spot. The location is far enough removed from Birmingham to get work done without distractions, but close enough for family to enjoy shopping, culture, restaurants, etc. Our room had a balcony (good) but the balcony overlooked the pool (bad). The pool noise was so loud that if we return we will request another part of the resort. Our room was fine. The shower has good pressure (high on my list for a good room) and there is a small refrigerator. The housekeeping was sub-par. Our drinking glasses were not changed the whole time and our shampoo and soap were not replaced - most other hotels do this routinely. The exterior grounds are beautiful and walkable. The on-site restaurant served breakfast and lunch for our meeting and their food was outstanding. The pool is large and there was live music in the afternoon. Unfortunately people like to "save" chairs by placing a towel in the morning, so we could not find any shade in the afternoon and sadly could not use the pool area. The lounge inside is very nice and also has live music at night. All things considered, this is a very good resort.

Room Tip: If you enjoy peace and quiet, avoid any room near the pool.

Here for a two day conference. The common area, meeting rooms, pool area and food were very good. The rooms were a disappointment. The first room had an inoperable A/C (in July.) After the FIFTH maintenance visit, they agreed that the A/C didn't work. We were moved, without help, to 207 that overlooked a flat roof that hadn't been cleaned in some time. The second night, a rodent trap appeared on the roof just two feet from our balcony. The sink in the bathroom leaked. No response to maintenance calls here. The problem at this "resort" is poor staffing and the staff that is here is not customer sensitive. I would not come back.

Room Tip: Don't stay on the second level that overlooks a flat roof
