“dirty and not safe”
Reviewed December 18, 2013

The stadium is not in a desirable part of Birmingham. The stadium is ionic but has not been kept up and seemed to be dirty and not well maintained. Be safe.

“Be a Part of History”
Reviewed August 3, 2013

On our way to Florida, my wife and I stopped to visit Legion Field in Birmingham, Al. You could feel the history of this grand old stadium. The neighborhood is not the best and you can tell that age is catching up to "The Football Capital of the South". It is just a few miles of I-65. Worth the stop. Just walk around and check out the Bear Bryant marker in front. You might get lucky and find an open gate. If so, go in and walk around. I know it is not what it once was and has gone downhill, but you had better go see it now before it falls down and is gone forever.

“Old Gray Lady”
Reviewed June 11, 2013

it is a Dissapointmen to see the shape of this stadium from her glory days. It is terrible that the city of Birmingham had to take down the upper decks to make it safe to attend events here. The whole place is a mess from restrooms to concessions to parking. Way to go CITY OF BIRMINGHAM great showing

“A blight on this fine city”
Reviewed May 11, 2013

I have been to many sports venues across the country, and some abroad. This is the absolute worst stadium I have ever endured. From the location, to the parking lot, to the seating and the food - this is a disgrace. Please, Birmingham Chamber of Commerce, condemn this run down concrete toilet bowl.

“Very Old In Need Of Some Loving!”
Reviewed April 29, 2013 via mobile

Have been here many times over the years for Alabama games, Billy Graham Revival and other venues and its just been in a slow decline. It's old and needs to either be updated or torn down and replaced. I see neither thing though as I believe sadly enough its on its final days.
