Decided to try Silvertron Cafe as it has been several years since I've eaten at this local establishment. Their location is good but the good stops there. The decor is a hodgepodge of styles... obviously going for some type of bohemian chic but missing the mark. The restaurant had plenty of tables available, however, the hostess walked us thru the main dining room and sat us in the bar in the back. I understand the need for the bartender to make tips on a slow night but that is not my responsibility and the bar is best described as "grungy". The staff was pleasant although not well trained but the food is best described as "dog food". I ordered the "fish and chips" which was overcooked, frozen fish that should have been discarded two days before my visit. My guest ordered the "veggie burger" which was a pile of brown tasteless "mush" that wasn't edible but was recommended by our server(the bartender). All this on top of dirty silverware!! Hopefully this place will close soon so another operator can make use of this location.
