We had a working meeting with 2 adults and 5 teenagers. We reserved 2 connecting rooms and one of the hospitality suites. We needed room to spread out and have work space. We couldn't have been happier with the space! The hotel was very clean and the hotel staff was very attentive. They were super accommodating to anything that we needed (roll-away, access to a DVD player, etc). Our experience was a very positive one and we would definitely stay here again. If you are in need of a downtown Birmingham hotel, this would be a great choice. Convenient to lots, including walking distance to the BJCC and the Birmingham Museum of Art. Great Hotel!

This is a brand new Westin in a new "entertainment district" that is just renting out. The hotel is beautiful with the new rain forest showers that Westin is installing in new hotels. Staff was friendly and all amenities were available except "Westin Workout" and a club lounge for frequent stayers. My biggest beef was the restaurant space was occupied by a PUB restaurant that was incredibly noisey and filled with beautiful young hipsters. Many would enjoy that but after a hard day of business I wanted a quiet meal with a sports television to watch. There is another bar in the lobby with food service from the PUB but it is casual food.

Room Tip: all rooms the same

Dear Steven W,

I am delighted to hear that you enjoyed the hotel and the amenities we offer. I am sorry to hear that the Todd English P.U.B. did not meet your expectations. Nonetheless, I hope that the enjoyable experience you had with our friendly staff and comfortable rooms will be enough to have you with us again in the near future.

Check in was so friendly and nice. The entire hotel was very nice to us. Everyone said "hello" wherever we went. The rooms were spacious and clean. Can't wait to return. The restaurant was a awesome experience!

The Westin Birmingham is located close to downtown (less than 5 minutes) and is close to brand new. It is great for business travelers as it is clean, modern, and efficient. I have stayed there approximately 8 weeks in a row and the staff has done a very good job of remembering me and making me feel welcome.

The only downside is the lack of restaurant options in the area immediately surrounding the hotel. However, the attached P.U.B. in the hotel is quite good.

Very nice hotel. Seemed to be very new. Room service was as good as it gets. Just another example of a great SPG location. The hotel staff was very good. Would stay again. They are right Across from the convention center and easy on and off highway

We stayed for 2 weeks and had a great stay. The staff here were amazing. Eugene was exceptionally nice and accommodating, he needs to be given his props here, he gave outstanding service..... As did Chris at the lobby bar, genuinely friendly and just great service.
Couldn't recommend this hotel enough!
