“Yuck.”
Reviewed December 11, 2012

First off, a rib place that's out of ribs on a night when it's not busy is just not a place worth visiting. The service was very poor: lots of dropped dishes, waiters being yelled at by supervisors, orders brought to the wrong tables, and so on. The chocolate pie was awful. The brisket was tough and dry. The sauce was too vinegary (unless you asked for the habanero sauce, which was good, though we had to ask three times before it came, and then only about two tablespoons arrived). The corn biscuits were good, though a tad too sweet. Not worth a second visit.

“short cuts are taken on the food”
Reviewed December 11, 2012

We frequent the place often but that may change ans the food is changing. The BBQ, their specialty, was obviously pulled earlier in the day, the french flies were greasy and cooked earlier, (but the chicken fingers were excellent, hot and fresh) the waiters are obviously not happy as there are always new ones there. Had the ribs are different as well. The baby back are very similar to the regular ribs and not as they were a year ago. They were obviously a bit over-cooked as they were dry and not very meaty.

“Very good - the cheezy biscuits are great”
Reviewed November 16, 2012

Went to the 5 points location for a lunch with coworkers and were very pleased. Parking was difficult though. One of our group gave up and went elsewhere, but we luckily found the parking ramp a block away. Apparently Tuesday noon is a "special event" - so it will cost $4 rather than $2 an hour.
They have a fairly large menu of BBQ items, and a lot of sides that go with it. They bring out these delicious cheese biscuits to your table that shouldn't be missed! Everyone enjoyed their food and the refills came very timely.
Overall an excellent place if you're in the area.

“Very Todd BBQ”
Reviewed November 14, 2012

Excellent quality for the price. The ribs are great and the sauces are very good. It is a little on the salty and sugary side if you are on a diet, but well worth eating anyway.

“Good BBQ in Bham”
Reviewed November 5, 2012

This is one of my favs. The appetizers are all good - Kitchen sink nachos, onion rings, queso dip, spinach & artichoke dip, wings, and of course the cheese biscuits! The salads are great - company salad, chopped southern, pig in the garden. The BBQ bakers (potatos) are a full meal. Ribs are good, pulled pork is good, turkey is good, catfish is good, burgers are good, but the beef brisket is my all time favorite. Get a glass of fresh squeezed lemonade but get there early because they only make 10 gallons per day. For something lighte, get a pimento cheese sandwich and a cup of chili but for a hearty appetite, try a pick 2, pick 3, or pick 4 (with two sides). And don't forget dessert. Try to go on taco Tuesday for something special. If you leave still hungry, it's your own fault!
