“Great fajitas! Expensive lunch”
Reviewed May 7, 2014

I got the steak fajitas for lunch passing through. They were awesome, and I wound up eating them all by myself. Watch out for add-ons as they will beef up your bill. I asked for some salsa not knowing that there was an additional charge. I came out spending a little over $21 for lunch with tip and all which isn't too bad considering it was really tasty and a lot of food.

There are so many good things to say about Superior Grill it's hard to know where start. Fabulous homemade tortilla chips and cheese dip!!!! Hint: Don't waste your time with a small cup order the large and take the rest home, it heats up great! If cheese dip isn't for you the salsa is outstanding! The Puffy Chicken Taco is different and good. But our favorite is the combination steak and chicken fajita dinner and the chicken soup that comes with it! One order of fajitas with an additional soup and rice will stuff two adults! The only negatives are on weekends it is crowded and you will have a wait. Second, it is not a quiet peaceful dining experience. Very much a lively, hip and happening place with a bar on one side and a separate dining room on the other. Crowds vary from families, to groups of friends to couples!

“Food was excellent”
Reviewed April 21, 2014 via mobile

All of our food was good. Not a cheap Mexican place BUT very good south western style food. All of our entrees were in the $10-$15 range and delicious. Plenty of leftovers as well. The quest appetizer was not the usual cheese dip. It is way better. Parking seemed a little questionable but after following the crowd and utilizing the free valet parking we were very pleased. Valet was also very quick and beat walking up the hill to park

“Fajitas Fajitas Fajitas ”
Reviewed April 14, 2014 via mobile

Out of every typical Mexican restaurant the steak and chicken pieces are questionable on the fajita skillet but at Superior Grill the steak and the chicken is real, beautiful, tasty and tender. This place is consistent for the last 10 years and it's just great to know what your getting every time. Thanks!

“USA Best Margaritas”
Reviewed April 8, 2014

I have been a fan of Superior Grill in Shreveport for years until we moved to Southlake, TX. Relocating to Birmingham I found another Superior almost as good as the original, very similar. Go for the ribs, talapia, and frozen margaritas. Yes, great ribs in a Mexican restaurant. The margaritas rank up there as one of the best in the USA. The happy hour doubles are deadly, so find a designated driver....
