I absolutely adore this hotel and staff. I have to stay 3-4 days a week, and it feel like Home. Nice clean and affordable!
Also has fitness room and inside pool and Jacuzzi.
Includes laundry room for first and hot breakfast and dinner with drinks.

Can't say enough about a great experience our team had at this hotel. The management was very helpful in arranging out stay at a great rate. The rooms were spacious, well appointed, and very clean. The free breakfast and evening drinks were icing on the cake. Will certainly stay here again.

I was in a top floor room that had been upgraded. Rooms and beds are comfortable. Bathroom was a bit cramped. Internet was extremely slow. Hopefully an anomaly or something that can be remedied. Front desk staff was very nice and welcoming.

Drury Hotels are usually pretty consistent and this hotel was no exception. New pet policy makes this chain a little less desirable if you are adverse to having to pay pet fees. Starting January 30, 2014 a pet fee of $10.00 per room per day will be added to your bill for the extra "cleaning" required after a pet stays. Pets are no longer allowed in the lobby or in the main elevators. Because we had booked the hotel before the policy was imposed, we were not charged the pet fee but we did have to sign the pet policy. At least the $10.00 fee is fairly reasonable compared to some other hotels but I still object.
Our room was great as we had a coupon for a free upgrade! The suite was spacious, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The bathroom was amazing.....double sinks, walk in shower and corner jetted tub! It was amazingly quiet in the room considering we were so close to the interstate. The happy hour drinks/eats and breakfast were appreciated and good. Staff was very friendly. Very nice hotel.

We needed some overnight stopovers with our German Shepherd while attempting to move to Florida from Tennessee then deciding to move back to Tennessee. I am not crazy about La Quintas or worse budget hotels so it was a pleasant surprise to find a nice hotel accepting not just my dog but my BIG dog. The Drury Hotel is south of downtown Birmingham and is very clean, it is on the parkway back off the main drag where every kind of restaurant you need is around. We tried Milo's and it was just bleh but there is McDonalds and O'Charleys and plenty more close by. We were always on an upper floor at Drury but put right at the elevator so that was no problem. I did feel a need to rush out with my dog to walk her because I never felt comfortable that other guests knew that this was a dogfriendly hotel. Also witnessed a young girl having a breakdown in the parking lot and was close to calling security on her - what kind of problems could she possibly have?! Outside is a 'field' in back to walk your dog but there is a concrete wall around the parking lot so you have to go all the way around the parking lot (if you are on the east side) to get to the field. They will probably build on that someday. We never took advantage of the buffet but it looked good. The staff is very friendly. The tv and wifi are all great. The beds are comfortable. The ceilings in the room are high. You get a fridge and microwave (thank you). You feel safe there and you get a key card to get in. We stayed here three times in one month going back and forth between Florida and Tennessee, and we hope to have reason to stay here again.

We stayed at this hotel at the spur of the moment. We stayed in a suite and it was clean and very large. The staff at this hotel went out of there way to make us comfortable. The food was hot and excellent both at dinner and breakfast. This chain has certainly out done themselves and this location has the staff to prove it. Will definitely use Drury in the future. Plus they are totally pet friendly.

Room Tip: Get a suite if available.

We stayed here on 12/28 on our way south. This is a nice hotel, but was under construction, so not quite up to par. The main reason we probably won't stay again is we were traveling in a MH and the drive into was very steep and we bent our hitch. We were very careful, but it's just not recommended if you have a big rig pulling a car. Please understand if we were traveling with a different vehicle we would definitely not hesitate to stay.
