My wife and I stayed one night on Oct 4 in Room 214. The hotel was a little hard to find using GPS. There was a lot of highway noise during the night that bothered both of us. Even though we both worked earlier in the day and then drove eight hours to arrive at 11:00 p.m., we kept waking up during the night due to the too firm bed and the highway noise.

The room was large and my wife really liked the layout of it.

Room Tip: Stay on the side of the hotel away from the highway to help keep down street noise.

Facilities were nice, but housekeeping must have been in a real rush when they turned this room over. Plastic fork on the floor by the wall, and condoms (thankfully not used!) in the drawer of the nightstand.

We were passing through Birmingham and arrived around 11 PM. The hotel was easy to find & parking was simple. The door to the lobby was locked, but the lady at the desk was quick to let us in after a knock. Check-in was easy, room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. We used the sofa bed as well. Sheets and blankets for the sofa bed were in a bag in the closet. The only minor annoyance was the room next to us had their TV on the entire night and the walls are far from sound proof. We grabbed some muffins & juice just outside the lobby for a quick breakfast before heading out. All-in-all, SpringHill Suites is a fine option and decent for a stay in Birmingham.

This hotel was very nice & clean. The only bummer was that there was no king beds so we were stuck with doubles. We were initially given a room on the 3rd floor but for some reasons we were having trouble connecting to the internet so they were able to give us a diff room. The other bonus was the continental breakfast was definitely a plus. Can never go wrong with that.

The property can be a little difficult to locate due to the winding driveway that snakes through a business park.
The rooms and common areas are very nice, and the staff are very helpful. There are no restaurants or bars onsite but there are several nearby.

Room Tip: Be sure to ask for a room that is on the side opposite the highway. Otherwise the noise can be disturbing.
