No complaints here! Just make sure you turn in at the Hampton Inn.
We loved our large suite with the comfortable sitting area. Our bathroom was split with a tub and toilet in one room, and a vanity / sink in the other room. This worked out great for us as I could spend time "fixing up" at the vanity while the other person could take their time in the shower, etc.
Breakfast was very nice - many thanks Marriott folks, for the crock-pot of oatmeal with raisins, brown sugar and walnuts...makes the waking up process so much nicer. I also appreciated a first at any hotel I've stayed at -- KASHI cereal! There was also hot egg matter and sausage, which others in my group appreciated.
And to top it off, staff was great and the place was very clean (except the elevator floors).
Would stay here again for sure.

We arrived at 6:30 pm to find that the 3 rooms we had reserved were not ready. Apparently the cleaning crew decided to quit that day so the management was having to clean the rooms. To put it mildly we were beyond upset at the fact that we had just driven all day to find that we would have to sit in the lobby while the rooms were being cleaned. The staff worked as quickly as they could and did a fantastic job with what they had. They discounted the room since we had to wait for it to be cleaned that late. This hotel is located in a very nice part of town with lots of places to eat in the area.

Just make sure to turn at the Hampton sign as others have said. Overall a great hotel in a great part of town with lots of food/shopping nearby to choose from.

Very nice hotel for the price-a little difficult to find, but worth the hunt.

Room Tip: Rooms on the front side of hotel are quieter--don't face the highway

This new hotel is well located, although a little difficult to find. The staff was very helpful, rooms nice and big, bed was great, overall a super place. The price was right via priceline, too! There is much to eat around, but you need wheels to get to them, about a mile.

Room Tip: Away from the interstate.

I stay here each time I'm in Birmingham. Like the location near the Summit Mall but love the rooms, layout, lobby and that breakfast is included in your rate. 3 of us stayed may 31. We all loved it--one of us is a flight attendant who has traveled the world. Said in bham from now on with our soccer trips would check here first. Room was clean and no issues w noise for me anytime I've been here which has been a lot.
