Great little hotel located in a prime spot that is on the quieter side. Though it does have ear plugs and eye cover for the louder nights - which I never encountered as I always wear ear plugs. We had us a "stoop" (verandah) to chill and drink our beer and wine and watch the parade of people. The hotel is clean and I loved the shower the best as I didn't have to step in and out of a slippery bath to end up killing myself. This shower is huge and doesn't have a bath at all and has terracotta no slip'ish tiles. It has a fridge and whilst the twin room is small it's clean and adequate. We ate at the Mimosa cafe only 100 steps from the hotel, they serve a great brekky. Choose brekky "A" $14 which has bacon, eggs, baked beans, toast, coffee (not bad) orange juice and beautifully grilled tomatoes. Eat the stir fry ($2) from the hawkers of an evening up the road from this hotel and shop till you drop (if you're into it) at the markets one street behind. This is a great reasonably priced hotel in a top spot.
