This is basically a tourist area. Its a long street filled with stores, street vendors and restaurants.
We were dropped off here from a tour and spent 3 hours walking around - which is much more time than you need. An hour at the most is more than enough.
We stopped for supper and a beer. It has some good restaurants in one section of the street. They are all westernized and have some western food and beer ( which is always nice to see)
The store and markets are repetitive and nothing special. Its mostly tourist trinkets and souvenirs.
At night the street lights up with lanterns and stores buzzing with people. Its interesting to see, but defiantly a "been there done that" type of experience. Especially since we spent nearly a month in China and every town, city and village had a similar type street.
