“Absolutely delicious!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 24, 2012

There is an interesting story behind this restaurant as it is operated by the staff themselves so they are very invested in its success.

I highly recommend eating here. The food is superb and there are no lack of choices on the menu. We actually went back two nights in a row it was so good!

“Decent place but very unexpectedly pricey”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 30, 2012

Had a modest lunch there in late January. Two small appetizers, two mains, one pisco sour, one cervecza, one small coffee and a slice of horrible rubbery cheesecake set me back $90.
Maybe this would be normal in Manhattan, but not in a small rural Chillean village that is lucky to have a streetlight or two.

It may be one of the best places to eat in Santa Cruz, but after the luxurious Hotel Santa Cruz, things drop off very fast. Go eat at Viu Menent winery instead, sit outside under the vine trellises, and eat far better for less.

“Very good Peruvian food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 6, 2012

I have visited this restaurant several times, and think it is really good. The portions are large, so I would recommend sharing so that you get a taste of more dishes. It's dark inside, which is cool and refreshing in the Santa Cruz heat. It's a little bit pricey, but well worth it. Try the Peruvian pisco sours!

“Excellent Peruvian Food in Central Chile”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 3, 2010

The menu is really very extensive and Authentic and the dishes were extremely well made. The Cerviche comes in various styles and was seriously good, as one would hope. It is definitly a taxi drive to go and come but it is worthwhile if you are staying in Santa Cruz where to be honest the options are pretty limited.
I did not really like the ambiance of the place, it feels like a Hut, or a dusty barn, I liked some of the staff but not all were welcoming. I think atmosphere is definitely missing and if you like decor of any sort you will be very disappointed, but if you are in town and fancy some Peruvian food with excellent seafood choices, this could be great for you.
