“Worth a moment of your time”

It's a nice little museum, worth a few moments of your time. Nothing special, nothing fancy. But you may learn a thing or two.

“Great artifacts but no context”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 21, 2013

Great museum. Unfortunately as Father le Paige traded for these items there is no context. Could do with a bit more in English but dont let this put you off - its a must do. Allow an hour to see it all.

“Don't bother visiting”

You do not need to visit this place. Although there is history around there is many more interesting places to visit than this.

“Well presented historical background”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 16, 2013

A visit to the museum is a good option for a hot afternoon. Most of the expeditions we took into the desert focus on the physical aspects of the Atacama desert. The museum It provides the archeological perpsective. The museum is not large, but the exhibition is of high quality and well presented. The detailed explanations are in Spanish and English.

It exceeded my expectations. Very well organized and well conserved objects from pre-history. They have guides speaking english, french and spanish.
