The price was right, only 600 pesos which is about $1.20 and includes entrance to the Videla House also. But there really isn't much to see. They do have a Moai from Easter Island and a few ancient skeletons but you won't need much time to visit this museum.

This museum has many interesting exhibits, although the halls are not well signed and one could leave the museum without seeing some of the exhibits.
My favorite area was the Moai exhibit. The room held a huge moai and many photos and drawings giving the history of them.
The museum is right in the center of everything - worth a visit.

This was a wonderful museum featuring the most extensive collection of pre-Columbian artifacts from the region including pottery. The original stone monolith from Easter Island is on display.

Nice museum, lighting over Moan could have been better. Good pre-columbian pottery collection with some interesting hisory on surrounding area archelogical finds. Would be nice if there was some English translation or brochures available regarding the exhibits. Spansh only.
