The park is very accessible and easy to explore - however, guided by Macarena, Cyril's very knowledgable and friendly wife, we had a day that was perfectly paced and included Chonchi, Castro's mercado, a local lunch stop and Cucao, putting it all in context. Highly recommend ChiloeNatural and Macarena.

The park is so peaceful and serene with extraordinary flora. In this late summer heat, not much fauna, but cool breezes in the shade and all in all a wonderful investment in getting to know Chiloe, its history and extraordinary topography. Macarena offers Chilean hospitality at its best - easy, informative and thoroughly helpful in English! Recommended highly!

If you love the nature, if you like to admire the art of the creator then do visit Chiloe. The massive earthquake of 1965 has shaken the Chiloe but it creates a lot of wonderful scenic beauty. The national park is a must visit if you are visiting Chile. You will not find may people around so you will be having ample space to enjoy the nature. Enjoy your visit to Chiloe.

We went to the Chiloe National Park from Castro in a daytrip to Cucao where the entrance to the park is, there are two "Senderos" to walk. Both are pretty short, one takes you inland through the marsches and the other one takes you to the playa through the dunes. Its not too many visitors so you can enjoy nature by yourself. Entrance fee is 1500 Pesos per Person, which is ok because they keep the pathes in good shape. The nature is stunning and we had a great day.

Be reminded that its not for serious trecking, more like a day visit, we made a Picknick with view to the Pacific, which was very nice. Restaurants are available and in Cucao you can rent kajak.

We spent a good chunk of the day exploring this park. The loop trail we went on was really nice and provided us with a great opportunity to see the rainforest. If you are in Castro, definitely visit this park.

"Book it now! Traveling with Cyril of Chiloe natural is a once in a lifetime experience. If you are looking for the off-the-beaten track and very special, authentic trav el experience, this is the way to go. They intimately know the locals and their ability to find the hidden, less-traveled routes is uncanny. He is a gentle soul with a lot of knowledge, professionalism, grace and has a fabulous sense of humor as well. We travelled in a group with both English and Spanish speaking people and his ability to switch between the languages was flawless.
Maca brings grounded, heartfelt touch to all she does and you will leave feeling pampered, happy and full of spirit for the culture and region."
