“Best noodles I've ever had”
Reviewed July 9, 2014 via mobile

This place certainly isn't fancy, but that might be the best part about it. It's hidden away around the corner from some of Battambang's more popular restaurants, which makes it somewhat hard to spot (and hence not over-crowded). It's amazing to watch the noodles and dumplings be made right in front of you, and everything tastes fantastic. We had vegetarian dumplings as well as vegetarian fried noodles and vegetarian noodle soup (spread over two separate visits within less than 24 hours of one another!) and we both loved everything. My boyfriend, who spent a year teaching English in Taiwan, said the dumplings are the best he's had since he left his job there. We wish we were staying in Battambang another night just to be able to eat here a few more times! (Not to mention both of our meals came in at under $3 in total.) Absolutely worth visiting when in Battambang.

“Amazing dumplings”
Reviewed May 1, 2014

The place is very typical, no specific decoration but the open kitchen let you see how the noodles are done : it has the reputation by the locals to be the best home-made noodles restaurant of Battambang and sometimes of Cambodia !!

“A brilliant choice!”
Reviewed April 8, 2014 via mobile

Not much to look at from the outside but really good fried and steamed dumplings. We had one of each and then some fried noodles with tomatoes which were delicious! Highly recommend this place and such good value-9 dollars for 4 beers, 2 plate of dumplings and 2 noodles-v full!

“Sehr gut”
Reviewed March 30, 2014

Our host had recommended this small Imbiss for affordable and tasty food. We stayed 6 days and probably ate there at least 8x. It might, at first impression, not look all that "clean" and "neat" but the tables are clean at all times. You get a teapot of Jasmin tea for free. Service is fast and the food is indeed really tasty. It looks like a family owned imbiss, working working all day long. If you´re traveling on a low budget this place might enchant you.

“Real Chinese noodles and wonton wrappers”
Reviewed March 15, 2014

After having spent a year in China, I am fully addicted to Asian noodles and dumplings, so we finally decided to give this place a try. The taciturn gentleman who runs it turns out some amazing and low-priced food from a prep area that may be all of 6x8. Hand-made noodles, wonton wrappers (No steamed dumplings, however, heavy sigh), and a rich and garlicky duck soup that you can order with noodles. It will also have some perfectly crunchy veggies in it, and some small chunks of meat. You also get a show with your meal, as the man hand pulls the noodles, and some nice tea, along with the Chinese traditional dumpling house bowl of raw garlic, here tempered by oil. A tasty meal which will not break your budget.
