The dining areas run along the pool and underneath a canopy. The countryside setting adds to the calming ambience. And the food! We ate there for 3 days and all of our meals were wonderful and inexpensive. We mostly ordered the Khmer dishes as we loved the accompanied brown rice grown on the resort. The resort site was originally rice paddies. Also, much of the produce is grown on site as well. In Portland where we live they loudly proclaim whenever something is local somewhat insecurely. But in Battambang it is quietly mentioned as an afterthought. Stay here at the resort and the beautiful breakfasts are included.
