Theres not much I can say other than what an experience to see over 2 million bats leave their roosting cave at the same time every night!

The locals have created a fun set up with plastic chairs in the road bay the caves and serving cheap beer and soft drinks.

If you get a chance get a guide to take you up to the 'killing caves' to see another side to this incredible place.

Visited as part of a day tour the bat cave was cool. A short climb up the mountain side to sit and watch the bats flying out of the cave was an incredible experience. Take a beer or drink, chill and watch the bat murmurations. There is a sign and barbed wire which states no entry but if you are feeling brave, cross this and you can get to very close to the cave entrance to really see the bat's up close! Warning... We got shouted at and told to leave because the owner of the large house at the bottom sells the bat poo.... Which is apparently how he made is fortune!

The Battambang Bat Caves starts at about sunset as a continuous stream of bats exit the cave for about 30 minutes. The phenomenon is great to watch when you get a good position from the road beneath the cave. If you are in Battambang you should spend the hour or so to check it out, it is definitely a different experience.

Went to the top of the hill to see the temples before the batcave. My daughter enjoyed seeing monkeys at the top.

Wouldn’t defiantly recommend watching the bats fly out of their cave as dusk draws. Very moving experience as you watch 6.5 million bats fly out. There are seats for you to sit and watch right opposite the cave entrance. The bats flew out at about 5:20 pm (mid April)
