Entry at 2 USD /PAX .It is a discovery of 3 spots :killings caves with a walking time around 1 hours , then up to the temple , going down by a difficult way in 20 mn . If bad shoes or tired , possibility to go up by bike for 3 USD . Around 5.45/6.0 pm Bat Cave , where between 5 to 6 millions bats are flying outside for 30 mn .

The place where you are humbled by the power of nature. Cafes are very well positioned in order for us to witness the millions of bats coming out of the cave.

Like clockwork at dusk these useful creatures stream out of their cave. I've taken a picture of the site's description detailing how useful they are to the surrounding area with their ingestion of insects. Check it out !

We caught a local tuk ruk out to the caves and were slightly early so had a look at all the temples and traditional houses around the area before getting a seat to see the bats.Casual seating under the cave along the road where you are expected to buy a drink from the persons area that you sit.Plenty of beverages to choose from and reasonably priced.Street food available too and I had a couple of local snails done in chilli on the BBQ for 30c for 2.Delicious.You can hear the bats in the cave become restless and before the sun sets a couple emerge and then boom.Thousands upon thousands of bats leave the cave. The slight is amazing and definitely worth the long trip out there.Dont miss it if you are in Battambang as there really isnt a lot to do there and this was fantastic.People leave before all the bats have left but we stayed later and still they hadnt all left after 35 mins of watching.Free to go there.Just buy a drink from your vendors area and help them out.

We went with a tuc tuc driver, Fie, who was very helpful and friendly. We saw the cave from the back of the mountain and I think it is better as the view is amazing and it is quiet. definitely recommend it.
