I have decided to choose here seeing that it is next to the river and near to the town, which is across from the river. We stayed here for a night only and didn't use much of the facilities since we came with our private tour guide.

Location
It is located next to the river and across from the shops and restaurants. It is relatively quiet, both day and night time.

Room
Deluxe double is roomy but from where we stay, there isn't much of a view as it faces another hotel, that is under renovation. Bathroom is roomy with a standard bathtub. The interior is traditional. They have basic toiletries and a hair dryer, satellite tv channels and air-conditioned.

Wifi
Wifi is available too although unstable sometimes.

Facilities
They have swimming pool, mini mart, convention centre and meeting room. Only one lift is available or you could use the stairs. Breakfast was good, both local and western selections. There are few tuk tuk available outside if you need to explore.

Room Tip: Choose a room with a river view

I arrived in Battambang late in the evening and walked in here and got a room the staff where very helpful and the rooms were luxurious. It's excellent value for money and on the other side of the river but the transport here is fantastic so I would say it's an excellent location. The food here was delicious and I look forward to staying here again on my next visit as Battambang is a delightful city.

The hotel itself checks every box. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room was quite large with plenty of heavy wooden furniture.
Would recommend a river view room as our room had a balcony facing the river- very nice.
Ask for a pick-up upon arrival by the hotel tuk tuk drivers, they are warm, friendly and honest and well worth letting them guide you around Battambang for a day or two. We taught them to use the phrase "we are not dodgy we are honest tuk tuk drivers" very sweet.

Quiet location as across the river from main city.
Had balcony room overlooking river. Beautiful views for sunset and watching the monsoon clouds!!
Very helpful staff. Helpful organising and booking tickets etc.
Restaurant was quiet but lunch was v tasty and good value.
Tea and coffee in room, safe and fridge too. Powerful air con.

Pool is actually indoors so didn't use it.

Can also recommend Nary's Cooking School if you have a spare 3-4hours.

Loved the city and area. Great place to stop that many tourists miss out.

The hotel is located on the other side of the river and therefor not in the very center of the city but the view is good, staff is nice and rooms are very well furnished and quite spaceous. The brakfast is somehow chinese but there is also a small kitchen in the breakfast room where all types of eggs can be ordered. From the hotel all iterstin places can easily be reached by Tuk Tuk.

Room Tip: Try to stay in a rooms with a view to the river although the river front is blocked by the elevator.

I have found king fy hotel online and decided to book two nights stay during my visit.

What I have found about the hotel is that the hotel provided good customer services, nice location with a very good price.

The room is in good size, good view of the city on the 6-8 floors. Hot water is the only problem.

For sure will recommend to my friends if they happen to visit this place.

I stayed for three nights in February 2013. The staff was not at all warm and spoke little english, like the ads say. The room was a little over the top with massive wood furniture and decoration. But the bed was comfortable. The drain in the bathtub/shower was clogged when I got there which was a pain. My last night there, there seemed to be some sort of fight or commotion down the hall form my room at 4am. It was really loud and lasted for a half an hour. This not necessarily the hotel's fault, but it was a very annoying experience.

The "restaurant," if you can call it that, was just a few chairs set up on the back deck. There was no one else around who looked like they worked there and people in plain clothes took my order and brought my food. It was very strange. Overall, since the price was so low, it was a good value stay.
