“A good night's entertainment but a tad pricey”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 16, 2013

The kids have a lot of skill and heaps of enthusiasm for their displays of juggling, acrobatics and balancing acts. You can appreciate why some of the former students have gone on to perform with various world renowned circus troupes. The show lasts about an hour and at $10 a head is a tad pricey compared to other attractions in Cambodia. However, ticket proceeds support the performing and visual arts school, which helps disadvantaged youngsters to get a start in life.

“A very professional show”

We had a great night at the circus. Think more Cirque de Soleil rather than traditional circus. It is well worth visiting and does some great work with the local community. $10 a ticket and money well spent.

We saw Phare Circus in Siem Reap. It was fantastic. Fun and funny with super talented acrobats and musicians. It was a great show. Worth going out of your way to catch this show.

“A Circus Surprise”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 9, 2013

What a wonderful Show. First you enter an art show that represents young local kids that are extremely gifted and you have an opportunity to purchase some of the art at low prices. ($5.00 to $30 or so) and all the proceeds go right to the school for supplies and support. This is worth attending so go early . The show starts on time and about 12 to 15 young to late teens show their skill at gymnastics and circus acts and set it to a storyline play that is funny and very daring considering some of the stunts are risky without some form of safety gear one would expect for young performers.
They were however very professionally adept and you will be really entertained by them.
I also had the opportunity to look in on some older teens that were rehearsing in a gym setting doing some very difficult gymnastics and they were very gifted doing tricks I have only seen professionals do. I have heard they have some students that have their sights on Cicque de Soliel and in fact one young man was in Canada during my visit for their training.
The entrance fee is very reasonable and worth every nickel and you will be both amazed and entertained.
