Had a romantic meal with my husband. Sat inside with the table overlooking the street. It was a quiet evening considering it was a Saturday night, a gentleman was playing the piano for about an hour before he had a break. There are many interesting photos dotted around, the largest, of the carts crossing the bridge and the village in the background is a must see when you are there- not quite the same feeling looking it on an ipad.
Considering its smart, slightly formal surroundings, the price of the meal and drinks was inexpensive. I had the meatballs (which I was told was a mixture of pork and beef and one had quite a bit of chilli!) and my husband the rich mans pocket (I think) both of which were in the special grills section. I liked my green salad, it gave me more ideas of making the same thing at home. To finish of my husband had Turkish coffee and tried to read his fortune with the booklet the waiter gave him. Unfortunately there was too much sludge still left to read anything. Perhaps you will have more luck than him.
