We visited Nessebar for a week's holiday in August 2013 and visited this restaurant some five times during our stay as it was so good (a couple of times for cocktails only and three times for an evening meal).
Firstly, the service is brilliant. Two of the three waiters who served us during our visits were exceptional, and both genuinely friendly and helpful. Secondly, the food is superb. I ate the whole fish (sea bream), kavarma kebap (a tasty local dish cooked in a pot), mussels. We also sampled the fig ice cream, which is delicious. There are a good selection of wines and on one occasion when we visited for drinks only, the waiter recommended a mojito - which was excellent.
On top of all this, the views are simply stunning. Every time we visited the place was packed out but we never struggled to get a table. We saw lots of different people eating there - couples, families, people with young children.
I notice that a few people on TripAdvisor have commented that Neptun is quite expensive; however, we paid around £25 per head for three courses and a bottle of good wine, which I believe offers excellent value.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this restaurant to anybody.
