I really enjoyed this place.
Living in the USA I've tried both Fogo de Chao and Texas de Brazil. The quality of both can vary from location to location.
I'm believe that Barbacoa Itaim is a one off and not franchised, which is a shame.
The salad bar meets all the requirements of a salad bar in a Churrascaria. Being a 'Pro' at the meat eating challenge, I've learned to be selective at the salad bar and only select a few items that accompany the meat well.
The meat service was excellent, always warm/hot, perfectly cooked, never over seasoned and always prepared in a simple tasteful manner.
The service was also very friendly, which was appreciated when dining alone in a foreign city, where Portuguese is the primary language.
For business, pleasure, alone or as a couple, give this place a try.
