I haven't been to Italy in many years, so I'm reluctant to make the claim here that Brazil-especially Sao Paulo-might have the best pizza in the world. And if it doesn't, it comes very close. Braz is an old-style restaurant with wooden tables, high ceilings, bottles of olive oil throughout and tiled walls. Its wood-oven pizza has a lot more flavor than you might be used to; even the crust is well-seasoned. They go light on the tomato sauce, and give you a good amount of cheese. The crust is perfectly cooked-slightly crispy on the outside, but chewy overall. It fully lives up to its hype.
