Description: Located in Itaim Bibi, Kibô presents the best of traditional oriental cuisine, with a lot of whimsy, attention to quality and a slight Peruvian touch. In addition to a la carte dishes, we also serve in a rotating scheme. One of the great highlights of the house is the Tiradito, a version of carpaccio with white fish and citrus sauce accompanied by chives and red onion.

Kibo Sushi is an amazing venue. The waitstaff is very good and does it best to accomodate your wishes.
If you are hungry, order the All-You-Can-Eat "Festival".

Highlights of the menu:

“Great decor, but lacks fresh food”
Reviewed December 31, 2012

I was all set expecting to enjoy a new sushi place... especially since it is owned by a friend of my father in law. The parking situation was typical of São Paulo... valet. The Devor was very nice, and the people were friendly enough in greeting our party and seating us. Three of us ordered Rodízio (all you can eat) and two ordered off the menu. The little cucumber salad that is part of the Rodízio was really good. But, that was the only good thing until we got to the desert. The hamachi was small and flavorless. Then, the served cooked mushrooms... also flavorless and not even hot. When the sushi arrived, it was a great presentation. But, everything tasted a bit "off." And, the cooked rolls had been prepared in advance... were cold and tough. When it was time for desert, I rejoiced as it's kind of hard to screw up ice cream. Before I would go back there, I would need to hear that they had improved the food. Luckily, my father in law was paying, or I probably would have sent things back to the chef.
