Strategically located in Brooklin Novo, the Business district of Sao Paulo, the Gran Estanplaza hotel is a very good option for business travelers. But pay attention! There are three Estanplaza hotels at Brooklin Novo area and the quality of other locations may be not the same I am describing here. This is the only one named Gran Estanplaza. The area is safe and close to the World Trade Center of Sao Paulo. You will find all you need for short business trips. I stayed in a suite, just on the hotel corner, with a corner balcony and a nice view of the area. The room was big enough, included a small lounge, with two tv sets, dvd player, well decorated, clean and stylish. Although the balance price-service could be better, nowadays Sao Paulo became more expensive due to the revaluation of the Brazilian currency.

I stayed at Gran Estanplaza while attending a Medical Congress in Transamerica Expocenter. The location is quite good. The room was very clean and the staff in general were really amazing (except for one reception ladie at mornings - Marília - who was rude with some collegues of mine at the same hotel and everytime she got a complain about internet or other doubts she showed evident impatience). The staff at night and afternoons were really amazing, polite and disponible. The rooms are a little out dated with old televisions, the air was sometimes not enough and forget the internet service - no wireless, too slow and very expensive. This could be a problem when travelling for business. But now, let me be fair - most of the staff is great, good english, the rooms were great, the location is fine. Last tip: don´t take the hotel taxi - they charge almost double price!

This is a great hotel for the business traveler. The property is safe and clean, with larger rooms. The staff is accomodating, however, some have very limited English.

We enjoyed our stay immensely. My husband was in Sao Paulo on business so this was a great location for that purpose. The staff was very helpful, friendly and many spoke English. All of the facilities seemed to be very clean and the hotel is well designed. The buffet breakfast was extensive and very good. Sao Paulo isn't really a tourist city, but we made our way around by walking to the train station (about 1/2 mile from the hotel), riding the trains and subways. Taxis are, of course, availble. I think we saw more by the trains and subways and the people in general are helpful. You must be careful in many parts of the city, but at the hotel it was very safe. I would stay here again.

This was a good business travelers hotel. The rooms were of a nice size and the beds quite comfortable. The breakfast was quite good as well.
The property was kept very nice and the rooms, including the bathroom were very clean too.
I felt very secure in this area as well.
The only real issue that I had was the lack of soundproofing. The sliding door to my balcony did not seal tightly and I could hear all of the noise on the street below. In addition, there was no obvious instructions on the operation of the Air Conditioning. You needed to turn it on by pressing a button on the phone. You could also turn lights on from the phone as well.
It would be great if this hotel offered a shuttle to the nearby shopping malls.

I stayed in this hotel in a business trip and and it was great.
The hotel is located in the Brooklyn neighborhood, a nice area with a lot of new buildings. Many international companies have their offices in that area.
The service was very good and the room very comfortable, clean, spacious and beautiful.
The hotel looked very neat and modern. Their restaurant was excellent.
I would recommend it to anyone to stay at this hotel.

Liked the hotel better than the Hilton opposite the Granestan. Rooms are very spacious with TV and DVD. Bathroom facilities all new and very clean. Room was equipped with two phones, a working desk and had a nice view.
Staff was very friendly and service-oriented. Breakfast was always something I longed for, many juices, fres fruit, sweets, etc...
In walking distance, however, is no restaurant or shopping facilitiy. You must drive down the road for 10 minutes to reach two shoppings.

Perfect price for a very high standard. I definitely can recommend the hotel for business.
