I stayed here on business, and although I understand the hotel is a few years old, from the level of service and the condition of the lobby, my room, and the grounds, the place felt nearly brand new.

The staff was friendly, courteous, very helpful, and very professional.

I had a room on one of the executive floors. One entire wall was a window, and the view from the 22nd floor was spectacular. The furnishings were modern, tasteful, in good condition, and made the room feel very luxurious. The bathroom was amazing, and as other reviewers have mentioned, the amenities are very impressive as well.

I was there for business meetings in the area... yes, it is close to a couple of major roads and freeways, but my room was quiet and peaceful--amazing, since I had a room right behind the elevators. However, it's in a more recently developed part of town, and there are a couple of very nice shopping areas nearby.

The breakfast buffet in the lobby restaurant was excellent, and the service there, even for breakfast, was quite impressive.

We have stayed at the Hyatt Sao Paulo many times. We live in the city but enjoy taking time off at this amazing hotel from time to time.
Le Club floors have a personal and first rate service of their own.
Bath amenities are first class.
The restaurants are among the best in the city, Sunday brunch lets you combine the buffet offered at the french restaurant and the japanese buffet offered next door at the japanese restaurant.
The spa services are first quality as well.
Even if you end up staying somewhere else, if you enjoy good french or japanese food, try one of the restaurants during your stay.

I have spent perhaps 40 nights at the Grand Hyatt Sao Paulo on business over the past four years and it has become perhaps my favourite hotel anywhere in the world - certainly in the top five.

The hotel is a beautiful modern building and the lobby atrium area is light and airy .. ... ... but you won't want to check in there, because the sensible thing to do is to book a Club room, in which case you'll be checking in in the Lounge high up. The Club rooms are worth the price for the access to the Lounge - breakfast, internet facilties, afternoon and evening snacks and drinks and a high level of service and attention from staff who remember you from one visit to the next.

The rooms are furnished in contemporary style and are exceptionally well laid-out - either for relaxing or for working. The beds are supremely comfortable and the bathroom facilities and amenities are better than any others I've encountered.

If you can tear yourself away from the room or the lounge, the dining facilities are excellent (if a little expensive), with a choice between French, Italian, Japanese or just an interesting range of bar snacks.

The Spa is also first-rate.

Sao Paulo is a difficult city to get around - lots of traffic and walking can be dangerous. However, unless you want to take a taxi up to Jardins (excellent restaurants) or do a daytime walk to the Morumbi mall (don't stray out at night), there's little reason to leave the hotel except for meetings.

I could happily live here!

This modern hotel is an excellent choice we made for a couple of days before a once-a-year cruise our of Santos stopping at Carnival in Rio, among other stops. We had a room high up that was quiet and had a good view. The furnishings were modern and upscale - the shower was fantastic and huge. The pool was excellent, a scene, and caiparinas tasty. The Italian restaurant was good for dinner, but the buffet for lunch was pricey - go a la carte for a better value. There was a hotel bar/nightclub on the second floor property adjacent, with terrific live bossa nova music by a small group (some members traded off for different nights). Minimal cover on a weekend night. On advice, did not go out on the streets at night, but during the day it was a short walk to a large mall nearby, with a tremendous variety of shops and great people watching.

Some areas of town we saw were more boutique (and likely even more expensive), but for a well-known chain that is easy to book, this place was a good choice. I would not hesitate to go back there.

On my recent trip to brazil, i had choosen the Grand Hyatt as it is a modern style Hotel and one of the best choices besides Fasano or Emilliano. To be honest- it was a good idea. Stayed on Club Floor with allday access to the Grand Club Lounge. Arrival was timed perfectly at arround 6pm for the cocktail hours. Personal Check In was a swift and we where offered drinks within seconds. The evening buffet was satisfying and the quality of drinks and food are top notch. Breakfast was served as well in the lounge. Internet is offered free of charge on a computer station within the lounge. The whole Club Lounge staff was very helpfull. I will definitly come back on my next trip to Sao Paulo as the City is pretty nice!
