We took a bus into São Paulo from the international airport. A graduate student on the bus recommended Blue Tree Paulista and helped us get there. They were surprised to have us walk in off the street but provided us with a large room with an outdoor patio (US$300. a night). Expensive, but we felt that was because of the area. There were several people at the desk who could speak limited English. They were very nice and helpful. The hotel could use some updating. The pool was clean and enjoyable.
The location is convenient to shopping and some restaurants.

I stayed here for a few nights on a business trip. I was pleasantly surprised to see my room was very large and spacious, I had a balcony, and the most spectacular view! If the rooms weren't so beautiful and spacious, I would give this hotel three stars? For a few reasons: The breakfast that was included was nothing to write home about, you must purchase the Internet separately ? and it is rather slow, and the room service is not too good. But the staff is friendly and enough and the hotel is in a good location.

This is a nice four-star hotel a block away from Avenida Paulista and the MASP museum. Rooms are functional, service is quick and attentive. For doing business in the area, it's a good choice, for a better price than the five-star options in the neighbourhood. And if you're doing business in Sao Paulo, most likely you will only be at the hotel to sleep over night and have breakfast...

stayed for 4n in november 2012. got a room on a relatively low floor, regardless it was very quiet. room was airy with lots of light. air conditioned worked flawlessly.

one star off because because internet was not free and bathroom fixtures were flimsy, towel rack almost fell down.

another star off because of bartender's behaviour: i ordered a gin tonic at the downstairs bar. without asking the barman made it with expensive imported gin. the price difference was something like 3 to 5 fold. this felt somewhat dishonest and is reflected in the service rating below.

The hotel is only a few meters from Paulista Avenue, neighbour to MASP and close to Trianon Park. I just stayed there for a night and next morning so couldn't use the gym or the pool. Room and bathroom are spacious. The breakfast is good, they even serve japanese style breakfast because many japanese people stay there. Recommend it and would stay there again.
