Hotel was perfect! The best about it is the location, near ibirapuera and so many good restaurants and bars around! Service and breakfast were pretty good too. I would definantely stay there again!

Stayed here first in November 2010 and again for a second time in July 2011. Hotel situated in Iberapuera – approx 10 minutes by taxi to the main business areas (taxis are cheap and plentiful).
Rooms are reasonably spacious – get one on a high floor for less noise (I was lucky both times). Breakfast OK – lack of toaster though if you are a toast fan. And in my second trip, during the winter season (July) there was no heating.......I am not sure whether Sao Paulo is geared up for cold temperatures.
Hotel has a bar – and an indoor swimming pool.
Situated in a reasonably safe neighbourhood (although always take care) – some nice restaurants and bars nearby.
Wireless internet provided – reasonable service although on occasions this was hit and miss.
Overall the hotel is ideal for business travel on a lower budget – I will probably use this hotel again in November (when the heating is not needed)!

After a very slow check in things got better. Room good size and clean. By no means luxurious but fine for business trip. I was travelling with a group and we stayed 6 days who all had different budgets so it was ideal.

Breakfast OK. Good fruit and juices other stuff not very inspiring.

Ate once in restaurant which was good. But lots of places within walking distance on busy roads - felt safe. Big shopping centre about 4 blocks away with bureau de change and banks.

Main gripe was the lifts were incredibly slow and one was out of order teh whole 6 day stay.

Room Tip: Go high and at teh back to avoid traffic noise.

Recently this hotel changed from Soneva to Park Inn brand. You can see that there was a great investment on the image... but Atlantica Hotels could have improved the bathrooms of the Rooms.

I've stayed in many Park Inn's in Europe and the Ibirapuera hotel has much better rooms and service. The elevators seem to have some issues with the card system and according to some long term guests, this issues have been like that for some time.

The location is perfect if you need to have business in the Moema region and you are very very close to the national airport.

The breakfast is nice for a Park Inn... but for 130-150 Euros a night, I would expect more than what was presented.

But the main problem is the quality of the bathrooms. Really old style with 70's style shower.

For a hotel that expensive ($130) in one of the most residential areas of Sao Paulo; I was expecting a personnel better prepare to receive business tourists. Most of the people in the front desk doesn't speak English, and they give you an attitude when they don;t understand you. For wake up calls, is a disaster... I stayed one week and for the first two days in a row they woke me up like half hour late, I had to complain twice before they really pay attention.

Then... it;s impossible to call outside from my room. First they invented that it was a maintenance problem, three days later they told me that they can do the phone call for me and transfer it... that is not the point!.

Forget about the internet.... I can not even watch a video in YouTube continuesly.

My suggestion for you is to go to the Bourbon Hotel that is like 3 blocks away.

AVOID THIS HOTEL if you have standards.

After travelling 1 month in Brazil we finished our roundtrip with 2 nights at this great hotel.
We found a good deal trough their webside and had an amazing room - the executive luxury suite for the price of a premium room. The room was 60 square meter and hada a jacuzi - a writing desk huge TV/dvd set and an amazing view of the city.
Its located in a nice area the bus outside takes you to the metro and yuor are downtown in less than half an hour.
OK its far away from the int. airport - most of the hotels in Sau Paulo are and it will cost you about 90 reais to get to the hotel.
The breakfast is included and i have never seen anything like it. A very airy restaurant with lots of business people -and a lot of food. Fruit, eggs, yoghurt, bread - at least 4 kinds and cakes, croissant, cheese, ham and juice 3 kind kinds. Amazing.
We did not bring our own laptop - and the price of using the internet is ridiculous - 15 reais for 30 minutes and we just had to check our flight back home. So we went to the metro shopping center and did it for 5 reais.
One more thing - if you ask for a taxi to take you to the airport they will charge you around 150 reais. Go to the taxistand on to the other side of the street and get it for 90.

I have stayed in this hotel twice, for eight nights each time--and have been very happy with it. It is not luxurious; it is comfortable and attractive. Weekdays it is full of businesspeople; weekends tend to attract couples of all ages. It has a minimal lobby and rooms vary in their furniture; all have stocked frigobars. The rates are quite reasonable, and if you get on their email list after a stay, you will be sent attractive offers for the future. My main criticism of the hotel (and I am a writer and editor) is that their internet service is abominable. Both times I have stayed I have had frustrating problems...needed to work (with the hotel's wifi) in the restaurant . The hotel did send technicians to my room, but the server would go down for the entire hotel too frequently. (I did complain and they have said they are in the process of updating the entire service they offer.) The breakfast is excellent--a good selection of breads, pastries, juices, fruit, yogurt, cheese, ham/turkey, and the standard scrambled eggs, platanos, and either sausage or bacon. They could use someone once a week to do something like crepes. There is excellent bus service (connecting to the city's efficient and growing metro system; they had added two new stations in the six months between my two visits) right in front of the hotel....and there are terrific restaurants within a few blocks of the hotel. Moema Shopping Center is 4 blocks down the street.
