This is à good address, nothing to complain about , close to paulista plazza 10 minutes, And It s quiet. Thé alameda lorena street has not as traffic as big avenue.

I Was here for business for one night and the hotel is fine, but very old, the rooms are remodelated, but at and stuff are sutil old, the restaurant is very small but the food is fine. The tinglado about the hotel is test comparing the high hotel prices in Sao Paulo (much more than the rest of Latam cities for the same ir less standard i.e. Marriott or Sheraton) the price is fine ($ 190 per night) and the location is good, near Paulista Ave and financial center.
I would recomend this hotel just for few nights and id You want yo be walking distance from work

The hotel was alot cheaper compared to other options and due to this I give it four stars.
It is a bit run down but clean.
We stayed a the highest floor and I think we were upgraded.
Staff is very nice. The fitness is old but still very useable if you go for weights.

The location of this hotel is very nice in Jardins, which is an area I really like. The staff are young and their English a bit weak but they were friendly. The breakfast is nice with a lot of choice and you can have omelettes etc cooked for you on request. My room was ok, nothing special but clean and nice - what I would expect at the price I paid. And it was a double for sole use so quite spacious.
However, if you chose this hotel for business and need to do work I would just like to warn you about the incredibly slow internet connection, so slow that I will never stay in this hotel again simply based on the speed (or rather the lack thereof) of the connection. Forget streaming anything or opening a large attachement. Also you get a password linked with your room number to connect your device. This means you need to chose between your smartphone and your laptop or disconnect one to be able to connect the other and then back again.

If you like to work out beware that the gym consists of 2 threadmills and some weights and looks muchmore impressive in photos than in real life. It was cold when i was there but during summer the gym might be very hot...I'm basing this on the fact that I did not see an airconditioner in the gym and I saw a big fan (why have a fan if there's a/c) but it is simply speculation.

Finally, the staff in recpetion recommended an Italian restaurant in the area called Trattoria Do Piero. Do NOT go there, we paid 175 Rs (about 70 Euros) for 1 soup, 1 pasta, 1 steak+fries, 1/2 bottle local red wine and 1 bottle of water. And it was one of the worst meals I have ever had.

I was brought to this place through a conference from work, and it was a poor experience. I have never written a review on tripadvisor.com, but my poor experience at this hotel has prompted me to do so.

I was placed in a room that did not have a proper functioning air conditioner. I took a shower, unpacked my bags, and waited for the room to cool down. As it continued to increase in temperature I called the front desk, and they say (after calling me back): 'the maintenance man says that the air conditioner in your room doesn't work, but are you going to need another room?'

My company paid close to $300 for a room in this hotel, which I find out is close to double the rate given to Brazilians. For this price, I was given two single beds that were extremely small and uncomfortable, a view a neighboring building, and a rather old appearing room with outdated features. The location is good, with several nice restaurants around. But the quality of the hotel would be poorest in the city from which I come, at quite a hefty price.

In the end, I was complained to the staff about the price, and they said nothing, only running my credit card like my comments were pointless. I will speak to my company when I return about the price again.

Honestly, I was quite underwhelmed by this hotel, it's not at all as advertised.

I was traveling on business and reserved a room with a queen bed to ensure a quality night's sleep after a long redeye flight. I took special note of the line on the website about an iron available on request, as it was important to press my suit before a full day of meetings.

Rather than the queen I had reserved, I was given a room with a twin bed on a floor under construction. The AC unit was broken, stuck on 18 degrees. I had to alternate between freezing under a blanket, then turning it off and broiling. Housekeeping failed to emtpy the trash and replace towels throughout my stay, but succeeded at parking their cart sideways in the hall to block access from my room. As the door to the room they were cleaning was closed, it took a significant effort to make the 10 point turn necessary to move the cart into a position where I could exit. (Happily, the building was not on fire at the time.) One morning the carpets were covered in plastic as they chipped at the plaster on the walls, another, a matchbook was mysteriously wedged under my door. I felt safer on the streets of Sao Paulo than I did in the corridors of the hotel.

The internet is staged so that you receive a "slow" connection for free, but can pay for an upgrade. The problem with the "slow" connection (on the one day it worked) is that it was so slow, your attempts to upgrade to the "fast" connection simply timed out on the browser, making the upgrade impossible.

The iron? They had none, and didn't expect to find any. At least they knew a place where I could buy one. (If you get a cheap all-white iron with no steam, you can thank me, I left it behind for you...) I didn't buy a board, as it was too far to walk carrying both. Trying to iron a dress shirt on a towel on a round table is not so easy.

The breakfast room staff is completely overwhelmed, 2 of my 3 nights I had to sit at a table with someone else's dirty dishes, hoping that the silverware I was using wasn't used by those people as well. Clearly, management is more interested in cutting labor costs than in providing a sanitary and satisfactory dining room experience. With this disaster out front, I wonder what happened behind the kitchen doors?

It wasn't a problem, but the minibar food is also quite indicative of how much this hotel actually cares about its' guests experience. The minibar snack selection consisted of a pack of gum, a sample sized candy bar, and a collection of three foil wrapped chocolates.

Beware all the positive reviews here, it was not my experience at all
