COnsidering this is a Mercure, that one is quite ok. Eventhough MErcure belongs to Accor Group this is mostly independant owners and there is not that much quality standard - then, big descrepancies from one to another.
This one is fine, quite well located.
The bedroom is actually made of 2 rooms, Living+bedroom. The bathroom is just ok.
I felt the hotel and the room was clean, service is not great.
The building is big, no charm, just functionnal to my view point.
Good option for either a business trip or a couple of days for shopping as you can find much worst in Sao Paulo....
Thank you for sharing your experience and I am sure that this feedback will serve as an encouragement to all of our staff as we strive to continuously improve the quality of our services.
Stayed here for two weeks on a business trip. Nice, modern two-room suites with comfortable bed, refrigerator and microwave. No bathtub. Hardwood floors can echo with sounds in the hallway or outside.
My biggest gripe is the fact that the internet is slow to non-existant. For that reason, I would not stay here or recommend to anyone else for business. It is okay for anyone who doesn't need to work. The internet is so spotty you cannot even stay connected to skype for more than a minute. However, the internet in the lobby does work a bit better.
Elevators are slow, and each person much insert a key to get to desired floor. This is difficult when needing to access a colleagues room on a different floor.
Very good service, excellent food, and good location with a grocery and multiple food options within a block radius.
This hotel is just as an average hotel, comfortable and well located. Carrefour Mall, Av. Paulista and few other places are within reach. They also provide decent breakfast and food. Though a little overpriced, its the best option when you are on a business trip to Sao Paulo. They also provide shuttle service to few places. Few Staff members are unable to speak English and that may be a concern at times.
This is OK hotel, nothing special, but good enough for business travel. Well situated close to Oscar Freire shopping street with restaurants and Vila Madalena. Wireless is very slow, better with cable although not all rooms have it. During some events, can be also quite expensive.
The hotel is well located, close to Av. Paulista, Vila Madalena and the metro station Clinicas. The rooms are comfortable and spacious which is really good.
However I would expect the following things to be better, especially for the price which is not low:
- the internet connection is terribly slow and seems overloaded. For people like me travelling business it's a problem.
- the gym and swimming pool. Most of the gym accessories out of order, the water in the pool is not clean and very warm which makes it hard to swim.
- the breakfast results boring, not a big choice and every day the same kind of food.
But overall it's ok.
We very much appreciate your comments regarding your stay at the Mercure São Paulo Pinheiros. .
