“Tasty but very pricy”
Reviewed March 30, 2013

Pizza here is treated with respect. Exquisite combinations of ingredients makes you want to try all of them in the same visit, which is impossible. The "au champagne" comes with mascarpone cheese, white truffles, poppy seeds and truffled oil. Besides delicious, this is the most expensive pizza on the menu. The ambience is cozy and warm, a nice place to go with family or friends. The major downside, however, is the price: they do not put the prices clearly on on the menu, which in my view is misleading. You can have a bad surprise in the end of the evening when the waiter brings your check. In my last visit, we spent BRL 250 (app $125) per couple which is quite expensive for pizza.

“Eat with your hands !”
Reviewed August 1, 2012

Ok, the thing about this pizza restaurant is that you should eat with your hands ! They don´t provide you forks nor knives, instead they bring you the pizza already cut in slices and of course a bunch of napkins are available.
Tal da Pizza Itaim has cozy atmosphere, almost feels like you´re in a close friend´s living room. The pizza is good, but nothing special and the price is high.

“Best Pizzanin Sao Paolo”
Reviewed July 11, 2012

I consider myself a good pizza critic. ( I make them too). Although it is not the traditional napoeletan pizza, you will be amazed at the perfection of flavors and a perfect crispy cottonball dough that you will find at this upscale pizza.

“Best Pizza Ever”
Reviewed July 4, 2012

If I had money to burn, I would fly to Sao Paulo solely to go to Tal de Pizza one more time. It is by far the best pizza I ever have eaten anywhere. When I lived in Sao Paulo I went regularly after it was introduced to me by some Paulistas I knew. There isn't a bad pizza to be had but I always had part of my pizza be the margarita and the tal de pizza. Don't forget the dessert pizza Gran Finale.

“Amazing pizza. A real specialty”
Reviewed April 11, 2012

This place is probably one of the best gourmet pizzas in the world. Locate in the outskirts of Sao Paulo, has a very rustic decoration, but the quality of the pizza is something very special. Don't expect to get the Pizza Hut kind of dough. It has it etremely crusty, baked to perfection with special ingredients, like the sausage make to by butcher exclusively to this place. If you are in Sao Paulo, in the Alphaville area, this is a place you willnot ever regret visiting, Not cheap by any means, but worth every penny.
