Neighborhood: Pinheiros

Had the pleasure of visiting this Jardins-area French bistro on a recent trip to São Paulo. Seating inside is limited so an early arrival (715pm) is a must. Within 30 minutes All the tables (inside and out) were taken. The wait for a table was probably an hour at that point. Even though the menu listed a house wine, on this occasion it was not available. I had their house special L'Entrecote with special sauce (pesto-based?).

The restaurant is very expensive and the food is not much...there are better places around in Pinheiros neighborhood like Almodovar or Giggio.

If you don´t mind to wait over an hour for a table, then you should definetely go to Le Jazz.
We arrived at 9 and got a table after 10, however they serve you drinks and appetizers which makes it go faster.

The food is very good, the prices are quite affordable for São Paulo (maybe the reason why it´s always packed) and the croud is young and cool.
The Jazz background music is great and at the right level.

I went to the one most recent branch in Jardins, Rua Melo Alves, which is slightly bigger than the original one in Pinheiros.

Good and consistent food. The entrecote and steak tartare are suculent.
Be prepared to wait for over 45mn some nights. The fact that people are waiting for so long should say something about how popular thisnplace is.
Enjoy!!

Great place with a good menu, but quite noisy when busy as it is a small restaurant. We were a party of four for lunch and we all enjoyed our food. We had good service. The creme brulee was quite good.
