“Good is enough!!”
Reviewed December 17, 2012

Been there this dec/15th/2012. The restaurant is located in a rather decadent area of popular shops (Bom Retiro) some blocks from Luz Station, not so hard to find. The building is neither fancy. The small place is filled of tables placed in such a way that if someone behinds you sits you will not be able to move anymore. The toillet is in the back of the restaurant beside the kitchen and with no neither natural or electric light...They offer no menu, so that you have to go to a glass window by the kitchen and choose from what you see. I choose a moussaka (kind of Greek lasagna) and it was very tasty and not expensive. I liked it but I don't think I this is a place I would like to visit again!

“Authentic Greek....”
Reviewed April 18, 2012

The charm of this restaurant is in its simplicity and atmosphere... the moussaka is always great...the other plates and the Greek salad (with no feta cheese) are very tasty...
It is only a pity that the prices went up so much, to the level of much fancier restaurants...

“Incredibly delicious”
Reviewed April 11, 2010

The owner of the restaurant is Mr. Trassyvoulos Petrakis, a peculiar human being. He is around 90 years old, but still likes to take care of everything. He's lovely most of the time. On Saturdays and Sundays it may be a little crowded and the tables not very clean. There aren't menus and you have to go to the kitchen to choose what you would like to eat. The smell of the food is mouth-wattering. I chose the Shrimp Parmigiana and Oh my God, it was delicious. I could eat there everyday of one month and I wouldn't get tired of it. The decor is simple, matching the casual vibe the restaurant has. I really liked the food and what I least liked was the cleanliness.
