Great sushi place with very fresh products. Service is great even when crowded. The place is always full, a sign of its great success. But it is too noisy; if you are in a group you will hardly hear each other. It does not accept reservations, so get there by 7:30/8:00PM to avoid waiting. It has become quite pricy lately, but the food will certainly not disappoint you.

Great sushi place, everything is very fresh, they try different plates from common restaurants having as a result a great menu. Service is great. Try to get there early or have a reservation since it is always full.

Good atmosphere, do not accept offers out of the menu without seeing the price, they will rip you off

This restaurant had first rate Sushi and tempura. Good service, even when the place was crowded. The noise level was high, but then it was small. Tekamaki rolls were outstanding.

Notwithstanding the large Japanese population in São Paulo, and the ubiquitous sushi as a consequence, the rarely expressed truth is that Japanese food in São Paulo is not very good. Nagayama (both branches) is the exception. Inventive ways round the limited options of available fish (compared with Europe, the US or, of course, Japan) and the best available in Brazil is here. Barriga de salmão (salmon belly) olho de boi, (Amberjack - similar to yellowtail, 'hamachi') carapau (mackerel) are all delicious and several days fresher than most Brazilian sushi/sashimi restaurants, where you're hard pressed to find anything other than tired salmon and tuna anyway. The only problem is that this tiny restaurant fills up early and stays full...
