I stayed alone for three days due to a corporate event . The structure of the resort is actually very good, the rooms are clean and comfortable, the employees are efficient, the food is well prepared and tasty, but ... In terms of privacy and relaxation, the resort left very much to be desired. Probably due to the time of the year I was staying (school holidays), the massive presence of children and the activities promoted by the hotel and directed to them (most of these activities very noisy and inconvenient, performed until 10pm in public areas of the hotel and not in appropriate environments), detracted any possibility of rest and privacy. My advice to single travelers who want to relax or couples without children who want a romantic ambience is: if traveling during school holidays, look elsewhere.
Another detail that I disliked: free wifi is very slow (512kbps). If you want a decent speed (1Mbps), the cost is outrageous R$55 per day.

We spent a few days after Christmas at this hotel.
It is located near Sao Paulo (1 hour drive) with easy access from the freeway.
It has a nice pool and many activities for adults and children.
I was very impressed with the food. The breakfast is well served, but they could improve serving some healthier choices, like soy milk, wholewheat bread...
Lunch and dinner was pretty decent as well, but after a few days, you start noticing the pattern in the variety of entrees.
Don't miss the Feijoada on Saturdays and the Churrasco too.
The AC in the room was a noisy.

Room Tip: The rooms facing a wall is more quiet comparing with the rooms facing the internal garden.

This was my first visit ever to Brazil, attending a conference that was held at the Royal Palm Plaza Resort. The hotel / resort is very nice, very stylish, with parts that are rather new (opened in 2010, I was lucky to get upgraded to one of these rooms). Large variety of things to do (sports including tennis and a very well equipped weight room, a spa, kids activities, several excellent restaurants, a large pool, shops, etc. etc.). The staff is friendly and well trained, many speak English or Spanish. The grounds are very well kept, and during the winter months (Northern Hemisphere) this is a great place to come to. The resort is quite pricey.

I have only very few things to point out that could be better: the hotel mixed up my booking twice (I was checked into the wrong room initially; it also took them several days to get the right check-out date for me). Cleaning of the rooms often did not take place until the afternoon; once I even had to call to remind them. Finally, the resort is surrounded by freeways and busy streets, it is almost impossible to get out and walk somewhere. One day I went for a 8-km run, which was basically along one of the roads, not really "healthy" ...

Room Tip: Ask for a room in the newly renovated part, "The Palms" Apartamentos

The Hotel give a very nice ambience, nice rooms, nice bed.
But te best is the restaurant.
Specially at saturdays, when they serv a "feijoada", with music.
Breakfast also is terrific.
For sure I´ll come back next time with my family, to use that fantastic swiming pool, on the contry-side sun.

Room Tip: try to ask for bedrooms close to the main building, if you don´t like to walk so much. It is a big...

Firstly, the resort has great food. Much better than club med or several other all inclusive venues in Brazil. Breakfast was the simplest meal in my opinion.

Durning our stay it was cold and rainy; generally a party pooper for kids. However, our kids had the time of their lives with the organized indoor activities. Several options for grown ups as well. Good times.

The rooms are big and clean, well decorated. We were a party of 2 adults, 2 kids and a baby+ luggage and we fit comfortably.

We were offered a room with a tub, but it was carpeted and my kids are allergic, so we prefered the room with no tub and hardwood floors. One problem: the adjoining door. We could hear the slightest whispers from the next room which disturbed our bed time a bit.

Room service provided us with an infant kit containing a crib, a bathtub and a toilet seat adaptor. There are also fully stocked baby kitchenettes located throughout the hotel which make it easy to make a bottle or change a diaper without having to go back to your room. Overall, I'm quite pleased with our stay.

Stayed here on business and it fitted the bill and the expectations. The room was very clean and had all the expected facilities regards toiletries, decent sized TV, iron, good Internet connection and reasonable sized bathroom. It seems also to be family friendly but is slightly isolated meaning you have to travel for any visits and tours. The tariff is a little high for what is received but all in all it is worth a few days stay. The restaurants delivered good meals at all times and there were cosy rooms which delivered a good ambience for dining.
