During the restaurant week Esquinica has provided a very good offer. Fair and honest.
Try some wine, they have a good selection. Reservations are needed if you are expecting to arrive after 20:30.
Try some fish and the entrees are very nice. Deserts are ok also.
Sometimes the air conditing are to strong, remember when you will leave home.

I liked the restaurant. True, it is on a busy street corner, but the huge floor to ceiling windows keep out the noise and allow for great views (of, mostly, traffic). The place has a cool hic atmosphere with respective music in the background - so intentionally not warm but hip. Service was excellent, and I liked the bread/schmear/nuts/olive starters and appetizer/tapas (fried plantaines).
Not so in love with my main dish, the cod/potatoe/onions/olives/sundried tomatoe "pot" - all parts where there but didn't work together, not a dish. The fish also was a tad salty and chewy. Probably better to stick with tapas, although some other dishes also sounded good.
Dessert was late but great, so all in all I would give this place a great but not exceptional rating. I would go back for ambiente and service and try another menu item. Window front seats were all taken on a midweek night so I'd say they are doing ok.

Esqinica is a casual dinner. A spanish menu , tapas are better than the main course dinners and the cellar is very much ok.
Price is adequate to what you got.

The atmosphere is not that cozy. The restaurant is located on a busy corner so traffic noise is a nusiance. Find a table in the middle of the room.

The service & food were excellent. The wines were pricey with no economical bottles available. We were early for dinner on a week night & only one other table was in use when we left at 2100. This tells us something

For those staying in the hotel, the other restaurants are more inviting, Bellini f.i.
