In a way it is like a kind of tapa-bar, or like the italian style buffet with small one-bite dishes. The variety is large and interesting, well prepared, however certainly not cheap. however it is autentic and I found it more interesting as Gambrinus in the central market, or box 32 in Floripa

We did not have a reservation, but arrived before the "rush". It seemed that most people did not have reservations - and that the preferred to wait instead of walking away again.
They serve italian-style food and though Italians might be a little disappointed that it is not exactly like their mamma makes it, it is still very good.
The ground floor (where we were) is rather small which creates a close, busy, but also relaxed atmosphere. Apparently it is not a problem if you speak only English - but are prepared to "communicate" in other ways too.

PS. The way the manage to store (and find) their wine bottles on the walls is worth a visit alone to study and admire ;-)

One of the few restaurants where you can feel the soul of the cook... In such a very pleasant place, in the heart of historic downtown, with a gorgeous menu. The universal character of the art of cooking - pasta, is the main attraction, and it may come with al dente steak, sea food and vegetables. The wine list is the best, as well as the best labels of beer. A very cozy space fulfilled with inspiring pictures. For those who wish high quality and good price. I do reccomend it!

this place is so popular that there is always a waiting time to get seated, i normally does not like to wait for a table but this one is really worth the wait. located not in a fancy part of town but this restaurant makes up for what you will have for a meal. the portion is large but the space inside is small. i feel so confined in there. the restaurant has the up stair area but to get up there is really an inconvenience. i still love the food. if you can ignore the cons...you will be happy.
