“Beautiful site”
Reviewed July 28, 2013

A major attraction in Natal for those who like architecture and history. The fort is interesting in itself. It also provides a magnificent view of the city and of the new bridge. Tour guides conduct tours in portuguese. You need to get there by cab.

“Forte dos reis magos”
Reviewed June 2, 2013

From the distance and some pictyures you can see it is a very interesting construction, the problem is that there is no bus to get there. You either take a taxi or walk a few miles from the center of the city to reach it. The walk is very nice though.

“magic place”

I liked the way to the Fortress, is very beautiful and pleasant to walk as is very windy. Near to the fortress there are so called natural pools which are occasionally formed by stones and ocean waters, nice for refreshing!

“Impressive fort, in better condition than most”
Reviewed December 7, 2012

It's a very well preserved fort so you can get a really good idea of what it was like when it was operational. Just nearby is the bridge which is worth checking out as well. It's well worth a visit, especially as it's one of the main attractions in Natal.
