This hotel is a good option to stay in Natal, right in the entrance of Ponta Negra, sufficiently close but away from the confusion. Various nice restaurants around, for all pockets. The staff is the best I've met, all of them extremely helpful and kind, always accommodating. The room was small but clean and the bed comfortable. The coffee/tea making facilities were helpful, as was the small refrigerator. During our 6-day stay sometimes the internet went down but it was restored after a call to the reception; the signal was good. Breakfast was plentiful and of great variety, with everything you may wish. The swimming-pool was a disappointment as it is more of a tank...
The only negative point we experienced was that we left behind some cables and a charger and the hotel demanded us to deposit first in their bank account the cost of the postage before sending it to us to somewhere else inside Brazil. This took some time to resolve and we felt it was a bit cheap, especially for a 5* hotel!

Room Tip: Ask for a higher with a sea view or looking towards Morro do Careca.

What a shame !! Booked my friends there so I visited. So sad and so typical of the local so called businessmen in Natal, they'll buy the best brand to make the most money but they don't want to spend any monies on service and to provide to the comfort of their clients. No WiFi in the rooms??, No hot water?? Front desk can't handle critics, unfriendly.Yet Expensive !!??
Incompetent personals due to a cheap management, probably don't have those qualifications to run a 5 star hotel!! Not their fault actually but the Cheap Owners that economize on employees.
What a waste, after building a great building and have very luxurious decor and then go screw everything up with your cheap mentality!!!
Remember This!! If You Pay Peanuts You Get MONKEYS !!!!!!

We stayed at the Majestic in Ponta Negra, Natal, Brazil from 2/Oct/2012 until 12/Oct/2012.

Please let the entire staff know how much we enjoyed our visit and stay at the hotel. Everyone we encountered was fantastic.
Melina was a very warm and accomodating host to us and would always enquire about our satisfaction.
The reception staff of Michelly, Raquel, Anderson, Renato and others were always willing to help with directions, suggestions and requests. This group of employees were professional, polite and helpful. We appreciate their attention to detail and willingness to assist us at all times.

We would also like to acknowledge the bell staff (messenger staff) who helped us set up our computer with a power converter. Andre was courteous and very helpful.

The hotel was in a perfect location for us and it always looked clean and inviting. The breakfast buffet was outstanding every morning and the staff in the restaurant professional and pleasant. Please thank Susie for making our fresh eggs every day, she is a great cook.
We absolutely love it, we will be back!!!!

What is a hotel for?
To Rest, use the wi- fi and shower and perhaps eat and drink.
The wi- fi does not work in the room, or it might work and fall out in the middle of a mail, and this goes on for hours.
Then i want to take a shower, no warm water, cold water!!
Then the bed, 1.90. 2 meters being the standard in 5 star hotels.
A terrible experience.
The reaction of the manager, thanks for telling me.
In others words, we do not care, pay and leave.
I am outraged, terrille lack of amenities advertised, no warm water, no wifi, short beds and then no apologies, no compensation.
Shame one you best western natal!

Room Tip: Do not stay here!!!!!
