For many years I have been a frequent customer, but after the death of original owner its quality standards were not the same and for some years I did not return. One month ago I invited a couple of friends and went there togheter with my wife. Absolute surprise to see the restaurant back to its origins, with the great piranha soup and shrimp dishes at generous portions. Price also was kept reasonable, with a good surprise to find a parking lot for guests. Some other restaurants were opened in the last years very close to Caldo de Piranha, atesting that this restaurant is a kind of magnet to customers. My only suggestion would be changing the lighting from white fluorescent lights to something more cozy.
