A very interesting place with a Swiss village theme. There is also a small amusement park, primarily for kids, on the property. It seems the park is only open on weekends though. The food was good, the pool very nice and the service was also good. The rooms were a bit dated but clean. Overall, for me the drive to the city, through some mountains, was the highlight of the trip. Also, make certain you have the directions before you start your drive as the final location is a bit tricky to locate. You cannot rely on the hotel signs alone.

This hotel is very good for children. It has a baby park inside the castle (free) and some kind of farm animals (also free to see). Everything else has a fee, like the horse ride, the bowling, ski, parc magestique and all the beverage. The price is very high, so they didn´t need to charge more for the activities. I stayed in a room they call "Luxo", nr 27, but the heat was not working so I changed for nr 25. The heat was not working also!!! It was so difficult!! Like I said, It's not cheap!! Finally, they put a portable heat by oil in my room but there wasn't an adequate power for the equipment, so I didn't turned it on!!!

The hotel had made a great investment in new facilities, from additional rooms, more seats in the restaurant, new atractions on the park (the snow slide).
Most of it is very good, but some comments:
The food is good, but not outstanding. The splitted buffet helps to reduce lines, but it inefficient in keeping all the food fresh, a big challange in this type of set up.
Another point is the distance from the rooms to the front desk and restaurant. The door bells solve the bags issue, but to go to the room in the new area takes a few minutes walk and with kids, the challange increases.
The snow slide was a bit disappointing and the roller coast continues to be extremely bumpy.

Room Tip: Try to stay closer to the restaurant area, a bit noiser, but saves several minutes of walk.

The hotel now has a big park for children near the hotel, but it is mosta for chd less than 10 years and it isn t very cheap. There is also an area for ice skating and go down a little ice hill with plastic floats. And there is the bowling in the castle. The problem is that there isn t much more apart these activities that you have to pay. The recreation time has few activities for the children and almost none for adults. Even the good cinema room that they have, the films are too old. The food is good as they have to feed a lot of people at the same time, so you cant expect to have gourmet food. Don t arrive late in the morning or you will have few choices of bread. The best party of our stay was the band that played on Saturday- it was very good. Also we stayed in the weekend of father s day and they dont give anything special for the fathers. You have to ask for your lugagge almost an hour before the go to catch it when the hotel is full.

I stayed 2 nights with my family, including a 6year old boy and a 2year olda girls, and the weekend eas fantastic. The hotel is huge, lots of entertainment for the kids, staff always readynto help. The room was brand new, clean and big enough for a family of four. The food is great as well.
I highly recommend it.

DEFENETELY NOT WORTH IT! For the rate charged, this hotel should have better trained staff or at least staff that are gentle with their guest.
