This place is amazing, went for Christmas eve and it was full.
Lots lots of food, excellent Sushi bar, very fresh, just prepare last minute.
Big buffet of starters, another one of seafood and the desserts one.
All sort of BBQ meat comes to your table, just amazing, pork, lamb, sausage, chicken, veal, beef etc and all this as much as you want and not pricy, around £ 30.00 a head!
recommended for big eater..

If your trip to Rio needs to include a visit to a churrascaria, this place fits the bill. The restaurant itself is large and cavernous with tables and tables lined up for the daily feedings, but the location has a nice view of Sugarloaf during daylight hours and the menu is impressive. Large quantities of salads, sushi, sides, meats, and desserts, there is no way you'll walk out hungry afterwards. If it's an intimate dining experience you're looking for, this is not the place, but it fit the bill exactly for what we were looking for on the evening we decided to visit....

There are many fantastic attributes about this restaurant. The view of the Sugarloaf, the food and the service are probably the most interesting. The only problem is that there is so much food and so good that it is hard to not eat too much.

We went with the entire family and with two daughters that can be picky eaters I was not sure that it would be a good idea but I was proven wrong. Everyone loved it and ate plenty.

I really enjoyed my visit at Porcao Rios. But when I compare it to Fogo de Chao in Sao Paulo, that I've visited many times, I feel like Porcao is a little outdated.. Not as good buffet selection, and not as good service, as in Fogo de Chao. with that said, food is great, location is great. Would most likely come back.

Porcao is traditionally the best "brazilian Barbecue" house in Rio. It is not cheap, but you can be sure you are going to eat high quality beef, as much as you want, as well as wonderful salads, sushi, and so on. They have also a wonderful space for parties and conferences which we used in 2011- about 200 people. Everybody loved it.
