This place was recommended to us by the hotel we stayed at. It was never crowded but I am not sure why. The food was actually quite good. Their speciality is fish so I would not go there for steak as there are better places to go. The food was cooked just the way we ordered it. not overly spiced (except for salt). We did not have to wait long and the menu was in both english and portuguese. For dessert we have a chocolate moouse cake topped wth chocolate flakes which was excellent. They did take credit cards as did every place we ate at is Rio.

The athmosphere of this restaurant was quite ok and as we were there during the week there were not many people and an attentive service.

We orderer a fish and as a sidedish roasted potatoes with rosemary and a shrimp sauce. Overall the food was good - especially the quality and taste of the fish. We were a bit disappointed by the sidedish, as the potatoes tasted like boiled potatoes with a bit spices on top. Also the shrimp sauce was not special and didn't really fit the menu.

The really annoying thing about our dinner was that we wanted to order a white wine from the wine card but they couldn't offer about half of all wines on the menu. Instead the waiters always tried to sell us more expensive wines.

All in all I would not recommend this restaurant, as there are other ones in the same price range which provide a much better overall experience as this restaurant.

One word: GROSS. The food was greasy, fishy and overpriced. Very disappointed! Nothing to offer here. Don't waste your vacation or money here.

In a lively quarter of the charming Santa Tereza neighborhood, Sobrenatural echoes its original vocation to host Samba little performances till today with an authentic Carioca atmosphere. The theme of the decoration is the local music genre and something about northeast brazilian folklore. As if it wasn´t enough, food is superb, mainly a fish specialty called Moqueca. You can jump from the classic yellow tram right in front of the restaurant. Certainly, an icon of Saint Teresa with delicious food, friendly and efficient service.
