At least for me, "Quitéria" is a new and more than welcome restaurant at the very affluent Ipanema quarter in Rio de Janeiro. I cannot write about its buffet lunch or à la carte dinner, as we were there last May, on an early evening, for drinks and appetizers - just a happy hour among old friends. Service was friendly, a modern and clean décor (with an open kitchen) and more than adequate drinks. As appetizers, we took the mini "acarajés" and the "tapioca" chease cubes. As both are fried, they are a bit greasy, what may be a problem if you are on any kind of diet or medical restriction. But, just give it a break and enjoy "Quitéria". Bon Appétit!
