You can get there by boat. The guides are great. The view is amazing, you can see Rio-Niterói Bridge, Santos Dumont Airport, the Guanabara Bay. The building is historical, very well preserved and worth a visit.

Brazil doesn't have a long history, and this place is where the last ball from the monarchy took place. It's really beautiful, and is a nice tour.

You should book a visit. History, beauty and nature, all together. At least two hours to see everything. Worth a visit.

The castelhinho that was used by tax revenue at the time of the empire is well maintained. Guides also request explaining the history of the castle-style Provençal (Frances) indeed several buildings in downtown Rio has French style.
The emperor Dom Pedro II ordered a prom to receive a commander of the Chilean navy and his ship in 1889. It was the last ball of the empire before the Republic begin. Leisurely 1: 20 pm, starting from the Cultural Navy where there are other boats to visit later. A Portuguese vessel at the time of the discovery, the Riachuelo War II submarine, a helicopter Sykorski 1996 and a warship Museum Bauru, The cost spent is cheap: $ 8.00. and is held in a restored tugboat, 1910 who fought in the First World War. Dali also part for a ride around the beautiful Guanabara Bay. In Cultural Brazilian Navy has also restored a boat carrying the rich at that time. For those who enjoy walking in the sea and boats worth. As the island is near the airport Santos Dumont bedside every moment passing jet planes close together is a contrast of old and new.
